Ode to My Mouth

By Khunlorkkom

As a pretty petite pigeon walks along the shore,
Her mouth who sits on her face is waking up and looking around.
"Hmmmm! What can I be?" said the mouth.

"Can I be a dolphin?
Because my voice is squeaking like him. Sound Nice!

Oh! or can I be a killer Whale?
Since I use my creative to get the prey. Hmmm! that's delicious.

Wait! maybe can I be an electric eel?
So, when I touch other, their thoughts can gleam and grow.

Um! can I be a sea gull?
Due to entertaining entire the sea.

Oh! maybe can I be a puffer fish?
When I get frightened, it protects me as my weapon.

Aha! can I be a shark?
Because my word can either eat people's heart of crush them.

Oh well! can I be a wave?
As it looks calm and peaceful but yet there is turbulence under.

Please! can I be a coral? At least
That is the description of my size." the mouth thoughts

A tongue utters to the mouth, "I couldn't survive without you"

How am I able to taste the water?
If it too salty or just right
How am I going to create different melody?
Because I don't have any place to dancing around.
So, stay with me, my precious mouth.

Bingo! why do I want to be someone else!
 instead of my own.
Don't worry! you will survive my fellow tongue
I am so proud to be a mouth, a combination of a dolphin, a killer whale, an electric eel,
a sea gull, a pufferfish,
a shark, a wave, and a coral.

"Just have to use it right as wise as an owl!" the little girl added.
